This is a place of scatered hot water springs situated about 5 km from Kyela township. Visitors can see the water flow from a rock, ground, at boiling point. For generations,
cows, goats and sheep have been brought to these springs to lick the soil for its mineral content, especially calcium. close to the hotsprings there are two mountains which you can
climb taking you one hour at leisure enjoying the flora. There is a place for camping if you have camping tools. You won't regret.
This tour can be by walking, bicycle, motorcycle, or car.
Duration: half or full day
Ther are also two mountains named Mwambulo junior and senior. It is believed that Germans lived here in the 1920's.This man was later named Mwambulo by the Nyakyusa but he fled away when
Tanzania became a protectorate under the British, leaving tunnels where he hid his properties, and the tunnels are stil there but despite people trying to dig to find things buried by him, nobody
has been successful. This is a place good for camping or a picnic.
