Located on the peninsula of Lake Nyasa, on the foothills of the Livingstone Mountain Range, it can be reached by either boat or foot from Matema or Lyulilo.  This is a village where most of the pottery sold in Matema and surrounding areas is produced (in furnaces). Most of the people living in this industrial area earn their livelihoods through the production of pottery.
It is only on this route that you can access the Nakyala cave which is believed to have been a sacraficial place and at the cave you can see the ornamental fish in the lake.

Duration: full day with lunch boxes by boats.
